Sevilla organises many cultural activities that capture the attention of the young audiences.

Such is the case with festivals like Territorios Sevilla, or the Festival of the Nations, that include traditional music, humanitarian initiatives, and multicultural performances. The Teatro de la Maestranza hosts an international festival of film music entitled Encuentros Internacionales de Música de Cine, including film soundtrack concerts, and film shows.

Throughout the year, some of the most acclaimed musicians and bands from the national and international music scene perform in the most emblematic venues of the Sevillian capital: The La Cartuja Auditorium, and El Palenque.

Theatre offers the Sala Imperdible, where promising young artists share the stage with independent companies; and the Teatro Central, featuring unusual and daring performances.

As a major city, each weekend Seville presents the latest cinema releases that reach the Spanish programmes. The capital has numerous cinemas, many of which are located within shopping centres, such as Alcampo Multicines, Nervión Plaza, and Arcos Multicines.

Let's not forget one of the greatest leisure opportunities in Seville, the Isla Mágica theme park. Its wonderful atmosphere, as well as the rides and live performances, will guarantee an unforgettable day.

When it comes to nightlife, the city has a wide variety of places to go. The district of Santa Cruz and Argote de Molina Street are ideal spots to have the first drink of the night. The bustle continues to Calle Betis and La Alfalfa, with plenty of bars and nightclubs. To dance the night away, go to the areas where the streets Marqués de Paradas, Julio César, and Adriano are located, near the old Plaza de Armas station. If visiting the city in summer time, you are strongly recommended to frequent the many restaurant and bar terraces set up along the banks of the river.

Young people will enjoy easy access to public transport by purchasing a Bonobús Joven, which provides discounts on city buses, or otherwise the Tarjeta Studio, good for suburban trains.
