Seville has excellent networks of air and land transport
making it easy and convenient to access the city by any means of transport
whatever..
The airport is located 10 kilometres north
of the city, next to the N-IV road. The premises, designed by the prestigious
Spanish architect Rafael Moneo, were totally refurbished for the Seville World
Exhibition. Nowadays, more than two million travellers use this airport every
year, most of them coming from other Spanish cities like Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, and Valencia. Nevertheless, about 20 per cent of the flights connect the city to
other European destinations: London, Paris, Düsseldorf, Brussels, Frankfurt, Rome, etc. When it comes to travelling to and from the airport, visitors
can use either taxis, or the special bus service that departs from Puerta
de Jerez, in the city centre.
Since 1992, Seville has a service of high speed trains (AVE). The trains
make about 20 daily trips each way, from Seville to Madrid, each one taking less than two hours. The Santa Justa
Railway Station is located in Avenida Kansas
City, within walking distance of the historic quarter.

Seville also has other long-distance services, such as Barcelona-Seville-Malaga/Granada-Almería,
and the train-hotel Barcelona-Cadiz, via Seville. In addition, regional trains link Seville with the other Andalusian capitals and towns.
Another great way to reach Seville is by road, as the capital has a terrific land transport
infrastructure, with excellent main roads and motorways. Also notice that
the N-IV road links Andalusia to Madrid. Granada and the Costa del Sol are linked to Seville through the A-92 dual carriageway. To go to Portugal, take the A-49 dual-carriageway. Lastly, Seville
and Cadiz are linked by both the A-4 main road and the N-IV.
All exits to the main roads are located along the SE-30 ringroad,
which encircles the city, and has numerous exits that lead to the city centre.
Seville has two bus stations. The main one is in Plaza de Armas,
with many coaches every day, bound for several national and international
destinations. The other, the Prado de San Sebastián
Bus Station, operates regular routes within the region.
